I unlocked a passion for teaching and sharing the healing benefits of yoga after an illness. By practicing Gentle Yoga, I regained my health. My recovery inspired me to share the same transformative experience I had undergone. My Hatha Flow classes offer a complete journey, with a focus on breathing into the poses, gentle meditation, and movements that enhance mobility. My goal is for all class participants to live a life with less pain and greater ease in their daily activities.
We also explore the somatic relationship of slowly feeling the movements in the body, so you can discover how the Asanas uniquely unfold and work best for you. Often, both emotional and physical tension are released, and students leave mentioning that they feel lighter. Whether it's a slightly deeper breath, softer shoulders, or inner comfort, these small shifts make a significant impact and lead to more comfort in their bodies. These moments are the most rewarding for me.

CLIENT STORY
"I felt lost and afraid before I entered Jenny's class. My first encounter was at the Wellness Center in Palatine 5 years ago. I was attending yoga and just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She taught an awesome class and as we were showing our gratitude, she told us it was an honor to practice with us. This kind, generous and beautiful angel made the difference in all of our lives that day and I felt an instant connection to her. My fear dissipated and I felt like Jenny "gets me." I've been taking classes with her ever since.
Jenny's classes have become a big part of who I am today. Immediately after class, I feel renewed and confident. I can't describe the inner strength that comes from yoga but it's a feeling like no other. Jenny's approach is unique in that she checks in with each of us, makes adjustments as necessary and always makes each of us feel welcome. I love my Thursday morning sessions and try to get to her Monday mornings as well but that time doesn't always work for me. I miss it when I'm not there and the ladies in the class are amazing.
I appreciate so, so much from my experience with Jenny. I've learned to be present and mindful as much as possible in my life. I've changed a great deal from the person I used to be who rushed through everything just to plan the next thing. I've reinvented myself as a result of cancer and yoga with Jenny. I am grateful every day for the life I have and am truly happy in my body and soul. I love and live more fully and listen to my body on a daily basis. I am self aware for the first time in my life and I think that has made a huge difference for me and I thank Jenny for the influence she's had on me."
